The Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) is pleased to announce the Western Garment Tailoring program at institute IAFTD, Thimphu.

As a part of the Skills Development Program, the Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) is pleased to announce the Western Garment Tailoring program at institute IAFTD, Thimphu fully funded by MoESD as detailed below:

Only interested registered job seekers/youths, laid-offs may apply using the given link. The last date of application is 31 January 2023.

The course will cover stitching of 4 pockets and 6 pockets uniform and field dress. Applicants for must have basic knowledge in tailoring.

In addition, after the completion of the course, all individuals are required to attend Basic Entrepreneurship Course which will be conducted for 2 weeks.

The applicants shall be notified within 2 working days from the last date of application via phone/email. The selection shall be based on FIRST-COME-FIRST basis and upon fulfilling the criteria specified above. Your application will not be accepted if you do not submit the required document specified above.

Stipend of Nu. 3500 per month will be provided for the entire duration of the course
