RIM is pleased to announce that the British Council IELTS registration for the 7 January 2023 test dates are now open. Please read the following instructions for smooth registration.
Registration Open: 7 January, 2023 (first-come first-served)
IELTS Office Location: IT & Library Block, First floor, Room at the entrance of Learning & Resource Development Center (Library), RIM, Simtokha. Open from 2 PM – 4 PM.
Maximum Intake
Academic: 245
GT: 5
IELTS Fee: Rs. 17,500/- (Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred) only.
IELTS Free Preparation/Tutorial: Will be announced tentatively 10 days before the test date. Please keep in touch with the RIM Website: (www.rim.edu.bt) for tutorials.
IELTS Test (LRW):
7 January, 2023 (11:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
IELTS Test (Speaking): Speaking dates and time will be emailed after completing all the registration process.
LRW Test Venue: Multipurpose Hall, Royal Institute of Management (RIM), Simtokha, Thimphu. Speaking Test Venue: Main IT Building (Glass Building), Ground floor.

Registration Process
Documents and other things required for the IELTS registration
For registration, fill in the google form: https://forms.gle/rckYL2MAdDfsdJ2w7
If there are seats available, after a few hours from your registration in google form, you will receive a confirmation email from BC IELTS.
Once you receive the confirmation email from BC IELTS, process your payments within the next day. Failure may lead to the cancellation of the seat and will be allocated to the next candidate.
Fee Payment options:
Scan the QR code to transfer the fee payment via all the banking apps given below. Please give your name and test date in the narration (For example, Sonam Dorji, 7 Jan). Please note that you are making payment to the Royal Institute of Management.
The payment screenshot along with the bank account from which the payment is transferred can be emailed to the concerned test coordinators.
A link to the payment will emailed after initial registration confirmation
