Dzi Farm, located in Khariphu, Thimphu, is seeking for a Farm Manager. We are looking for responsible, hard-working and enthusiastic individual with whom to share the challenges and rewards of growing healthy food.
Who We Are:
Using organic methods we manage an apple orchard and diverse vegetable operation in a beautiful place large enough for any large-scale agriculture practice.
We are seeking for an individual who is excited about farming and eager to take on the wide-range of responsibilities associated with running the orchard and farm. This includes: assisting with managing the orchard, greenhouse work, field preparations and tillage, hand and tractor cultivation, harvest and distribution.

Hard working, fun loving, team player, clear communicator, who enjoys being outside in all types of weather.
Summary of Position:
Dzi Farm Manager not only carries out the core functions of the apple orchard such as pruning, tilling, bedding but also harvest other vegetables. They assist in other farm duties on an as needed basis.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to work in variable outdoor weather conditions

Pay:
You will be starting with a monthly salary of Nu. 7000 for managing the apple orchard only. The Farm Manager will be the major benefactor from any other additional revenue from other activities like growing vegetables.
