A doe, adult female goat, in lower Kabreytar, Phuentshogling gewog, Chhukha dzongkhag, suspected of rabies and kept under observation since 19 April 2021, died and tested positive for rabies on 22 April 2021. As per the flash report shared, the case was suspected to have spread from earlier rabies cases reported from the area. All the prevention and control measures have been implemented by the TVH&SL, Phuentshogling, aligning with the National Rabies Prevention and Control Plan 2017.
