What will you be working on? He/she will support laboratory testing and analysis related to food quality safety and regulatory compliance. The officer will assist in sample collection preparation and laboratory examinations of food water and related products. The role also includes maintaining laboratory records, operating laboratory equipment ensuring cleanliness and safety standards and supporting inspection and monitoring activities under BFDA guidelines. The officer will work closely with senior laboratory professionals in implementing quality assurance and public health protection measures. The job description is subject to review and revision.

What we are looking for? Looking for a motivated, responsible and technically competent candidate with a strong interest in laboratory science, food safety and public health. The candidate should possess good analytical skills, attention to detail, teamwork and the ability to work in a professional laboratory environment. Candidates with knowledge of laboratory procedures, sample handling and quality assurance systems will be preferred.Bachelor Degree. Basic knowledge of laboratory operations and safety procedures. Good communication and computer skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bhutanese citizenship
