As per the letter number NCHM/NWFWC/Forecast-14/2020-21/120 dated 7th June 2021, Monsoon has onset in Bhutan on the 7th June 2021. With the start of the monsoon season from June-September, the Department of Disaster Management, Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs, would like to remind the general public to remain vigilant and to stay away from the low lying flood plains and river banks to ensure your safety and that of your family.
