What will you be working on?

1. Registration of Entities for the import/export of:
• Narcotic drugs
• Psychotropic substances
• Precursor chemicals
2. Issuance of Import/Export Authorizations for:
• Narcotic drugs
• Psychotropic substances
• Precursor chemicals
3. Provide No Objection for Pre-Export Notification of precursor chemicals.
4. Participation in International Meetings with INCB, BIMSTEC, and UNODC regarding NDPS and precursor chemicals.
5. Quality Inspection of drug testing kits and their accessories.
6. Monitoring and Inspection of entities concerning the storage, inventory, and consumption of controlled substances (NDPS & precursor chemicals).
7. Preparation and Submission of the annual consumption report for narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances of the country.
8. Preparation and submission of estimates (quota for Bhutan) for narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for the upcoming year.
9. Preparation and Submission of the annual consumption report for precursor chemicals to the INCB.
10. Submission of Supplementary Quantities of NDPS.
11. Capacity Building of law enforcement agencies/personnel on Drug of Abuse testing.
12. Receipt and Referral of samples to confirmatory laboratories for the verification of controlled substances.
13. Training of Law Enforcement Agencies on narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, precursor chemicals, and inhalants.
14. Technical Support in the development of policies and regulations.
15. Review and Development of guidelines, standards, and SOPs related to the NDPSSA Act.
16. Other Duties as assigned by supervisors
