The Ministry of Education and Skills Development would like to announce the vacancy for the post of Principal at P1A. The list of vacant schools is attached as Annexure I.

Interested in-service civil servants who meet the eligibility criteria as per Section 13.7.4 on promotion through open competition, BCSR 2018 may apply and also refer additional criteria given below. 

6. Possess a Bachelor’s Degree;
7. Any LTT must be reflected as completed in the ZESt;
8. Currently serving as Dy. Chief DEO/TEO/Principal II/Vice Principal I at P2A and completed 2 years in the current position level on the application deadline;
9. Served 2 years in the current position as Dy. Chief DEO/TEO/Principal II/Vice Principal I at P2A after appointment through open competitive selection;
10. ‘Good’ and above in the moderation results for 2020/2020-2021 and 2021/2021-2022 and updated in the ZESt;
11. Clean service record; and
12. All the required documents/information must be submitted with the online application.

5. Academic Transcript and Certificates (B.Ed./PGCE/PGDE) – Submit as one pdf;
6. Audit Clearance for promotion;
7. Security Clearance;
8. Integrity Test Certificate;
9. No Objection Letter from the employer, if working in other agency;
10. Recommendation from the immediate Supervisor.

Important Notes 

1. Application must be submitted via Google form to HRD, MoESD on or before 23^rd March 2023 after which it will be closed. To apply, click HERE.

2. Short-listing of applicants will be based on the result of Psychometric Test administered by the RCSC. The date for Psychometric Test will be intimated through email by the RCSC/MoESD. Selection interview will be scheduled after the declaration of the result of the Psychometric Test.

3. The choice of placement for selected candidates will be based on merit in the selection result. However, kindly note that the choice of placement must be aligned to individual’s qualification and school level besides meritocracy.
