In accordance with the decision of the 323rd HRC Meeting held on 21 September 2021, the Ministry of Education would like to announce the vacancy for the post given below on lateral entry.

Interested in-service civil servants who meet the eligibility criteria as per Section 13.7.4 on promotion through open competition, BCSR 2018 may apply and also refer additional criteria given below. 

  1. Possess a Master’s Degree and reflected as ‘completed’ in the ZESt;
  2. In addition to Sl.# 1, candidates must possess B.Ed. (S)/ PGCE/ PGDE;
  3. Currently serving as Principal II, Principal I, Principal (ES), Vice Principal I, Dy. Chief DEO/TEO/, Education Monitoring Officer/ Curriculum Developer (who served as Principal/ VP);
  4. ‘Good’ and above in the moderation results for 2019 and 2020 and updated in the ZESt;
  5. Clean service record; and
  6. All the required documents/information must be submitted with the online application.

 

Documents required to be uploaded with the application form within the deadline

 

  1. Academic Transcript and Certificates for Master’s Degree and B.Ed.(S)/PGCRE/PGDE;
  2. No Objection Letter from the employer, if working in other agency;
  3. Recommendation from the immediate Supervisor.

Important Notes 

  1. Application must be submitted via Google Form to HRD, MoE on or before 20 October 2021 after which it will be closed.
  2. 270 degree assessment will be carried out for the eligible candidates.
  3. Appointment/lateral transfer for the selected candidate will be effective from 01 January 2022.
  4. Transfer of spouse (if employed) of the candidate selected as Principal for the above school will be based on the vacancy in his or her area of specialization.
