  1. Company Background

 

Thimphu TechPark Ltd. is a 100% DHI Owned Company. It was initially incorporated on 24 August 2009 as a joint venture between Assetz Property Group (APG) of Singapore owning 74% and DHI owning 26%, to Design, Build, Finance, Own, Operate and Transfer (DBFOOT) Bhutan’s first IT Park. The IT Park started its commercial operations on 7 May 2012. In October 2014, DHI assumed full ownership of TTPL after APG decided to exit from the partnership and transferred its shares to DHI.

 

The IT Park was established to create employment opportunities for our youth through the promotion of the IT industry, and innovation and entrepreneurship in Bhutan. Currently, the Park hosts a data centre, several international IT/ITES companies and Bhutanese startups employing more than 600 people in total.

From 2019 onwards, TTPL has transformed itself into an IT services company besides managing the IT Park, in line with the DHI Roadmap 2019 – 2030. So, TTPL started an IT Services Department from the second half of 2019 and it now has a team of about 50 IT professionals providing ERP and other software development services to companies within DHI Group as well as other clients.

 

The company’s vision is to become the Centre of Excellence for Software Engineering, and export IT services outside Bhutan. It will consolidate the DHI Group’s IT services and resources (including the data centers) and replace all legacy systems and applications with up-to-date applications. It will provide IT and IT enabled services (system development) to all local agencies and then function as IT Manager to the Group, government agencies, and other independent agencies.

 

  1. Job Summary

This role will be responsible for undertaking the organization’s programs and events. They will also oversee the management of Company’s Real-estate affairs and provide required support to TTPL’s tenants and incubates. Additionally, they also provide administrative support as and when required.

  1. Specific responsibilities of the assistant Program Manager

 

Building relationship with strategic partners/clients/stakeholders

  • Identify, build and strengthen relationship with strategic partners
  • Look for potential business partners to promote relevant programmes and venture into new possible businesses
  • Identify any support and advice required for the management, planning and control of the Project
  • Ensure proper professional relationships with relevant national and international partner agencies

Organizing/ providing Trainings/ Seminars/ Workshops

  • Plan new trainings
  • Coordinate and organize trainings
  • Capacity development training program for incubate companies

Manage BITC facility

  • Ensure that BITC space is maintained neat and clean
  • Maintains files related to Data Centre
  • Maintain accounts of BITC income and expenses in coordination with the finance officer of TTPL
  • Prepare BITC reports on half-yearly or as and when asked by the management of DITT, MoIC
  • Prepare the annual report of BITC to be submitted to DITT, MoIC

Undertake the company’s hospitality and management services

  • Act as the brand ambassador of TTPL to the visitors
  • Supervise housekeeping and security services to ensure clean and safe working environment at TTPL

*Any other tasks as and when assigned by the management.

 

  1. Qualification and Experience Criteria
  • Degree in Business Studies (BBA/ B’Com from Recognized University)
  • Must have at least 65% in Degree (aggregate) and Class XII (English plus best 3)
  • Experience in the field of entrepreneurship, management, marketing, training or related field will be an added advantage.

  1. Salary & Others Benefits

 

Grade                                      :           S1

Basic Pay                                 :           Nu. 27,300

Contract allowance                  :           30% of the basic pay

Communication allowance      :           Nu. 1000/

PBVA                                      :           Maximum of 15% of the annual basic pay subject to fulfillment of annual Compact signed between DHI and TTPL

Employer’s PF Contribution    :           15% of basic pay

  1. Selection Process

 

TTPL will adopt the following selection process to ensure complete fairness and transparency. 

  •  

Stage 1: Walk-in Interview

 

Candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be invited to a walk-in interview. Top 20 candidates will be shortlisted for the next round of interviews. Panel of Judge will pre-screen the candidates based on their confidence level, attitude, and interpersonal skills.   

 

Stage 2: Shortlisting for the Written Exam   

 

Only top 5- 10 candidates shall be called for final interview.

 

Stage 3: Final Selection 

 

Final selection and ranking will be based on the following weightages: Interview (60%), Stage 2 (40%).
