DRE is rolling out Solar Water Heating Systems

“The Department of Renewable Energy under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, in its effort to contribute towards energy source diversification for enhancing energy security and sustainable development is in the process of rolling out Solar Water Heating Systems (SWHS) in the country.
In this regard, applications are invited from interested Public Institutes, Commercial Entities and Residential Establishments who are interested to opt for the SWHS Technology. Application form and other details can be accessed from the Ministry’s website (https://www.moea.gov.bt/?page_id=588). The duly filled application forms must be submitted to the Department latest by 20th August 2021”
Residential applicant - To bear 40% of total cost of the SWHS based on the milestone
payment as per the contract document.
2. Commercial Applicant - To bear 60% of total cost of the SWHS based on the milestone
payment as per the contract document.
