The Ministry of Health is pleased to announce and invite applications from the eligible in-service candidates for the following Six-Month Certificate Courses at the Faculty of Nursing and Public Health (FoNPH), Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB), Thimphu:

1. Eligibility criteria:
● Regular Clinical Nurse/Staff Nurse/Nurse/Asst. Nurse;
● Completed probation period; and
● No adverse record.

2. Documents required while applying
● No Objection Certificate from the HRC of the Working Agency
● Academic Certificate & Transcripts:
○ Degree/Diploma/Certificate: Copy of Certificate and Transcript
○ Class XII: Copy of Certificate and Transcript.
● Valid Citizenship Identity Card

3. System-generated Information
Following information/documents shall be generated from ZESt and DMS/PF for shortlisting. Therefore,
applicants need to verify the information by logging into the Self-Service Portal, ZESt at
https://zest.rcsc.gov.bt/  within the scholarship application deadline:
● Curriculum Vitae (CV);
● Moderation score/Performance Evaluation Ratings (IWP) for the recent two financial years;
● Email address and mobile number; and
● Place of posting detail for rural posting weightage

4. Application procedure and deadline

5. Selection Criteria
● Rural Posting: 5%
● Performance rating of two recent years: 30%
● Viva - 45%
● Academic score of degree/diploma/Certificate: 20%

The Ministry of Health will shortlist and conduct the selection interview.
Upon completion of the training, the candidates will be deployed to the health facilities as per the
requirement of the Ministry of Health.
