The Management of Bank of Bhutan is pleased to announce the vacancy for the post of Chief, Finance Division:
- Eligibility Criteria as detailed below:
| Education Qualification | Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized College/University obtained on a full-time mode. An applicant without a Bachelor’s Degree but possessing a relevant Master’s Degree (full-time) from a recognized University will be eligible. |
| Grade | P1 and above for civil servants; DRG 4 and above for DHI owned companies or equivalent. |
| Work Experience | a. Should have a minimum of 10 years of total work experience (that could include a maximum of 18 months for higher studies/sabbatical). Preference will be given to applicants with relevant experiences in the announced position. |
| Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | The CV of applicants should demonstrate the following: a. Good communication skills including presentation; b. Strong analytical abilities; c. A working knowledge of statistics and confidence to make decisions that will affect Bank’s bottom line; d. Relevance of knowledge and experience in the position announced; e. Ability to lead and manage multiple Sections; and f. Negotiation and conflict resolution skills. |
| Service Record | Should possess clean service record and not be convicted by the court of law. |
| Age | Candidate should not be older than 57 years of age on the last working date of receiving the application. |
2. Grade, Remuneration and Benefits

| Other Benefits | 1. Performance Based Variable Pay (PBVP) of 31.67% (maximum) of basic pay based on annual performance | |
| 2. Other entitlements: Eligible as per the BoB Service Rule (BoBSR) | ||
| Appointment Status and Tenure | On contract for an initial period of three years with possibility of extension for two terms after the completion of the first term by following the due process of renewal. The term shall include incumbent’s transfer to other functional units. | |
Document required:
- Cover letter expressing interest in the role, and stating clearly why an applicant is appropriate for the job;
- Curriculum Vitae – The CV should highlight the relevant work experiences, knowledge, skills and other specified criteria for the position;
- Valid Medical Certificate;
- A copy of valid Citizenship Identity Card;
- A copy of valid Security Clearance Certificate
- All Academic Transcripts and Course Completion Certificates;
- Previous work experience certificate that indicates minimum of 10 years of total work experience.
- RAA Clearance.
- A CIB report;
- No objection certificate (If employed)
