The Royal Civil Service Commission is pleased to share the availability of scholarships (33 slots) for
Bhutanese under the Nalanda University Scholarship for 2026-2027 intake as follows:
● Two-year Master's program- 20
● Two-year MBA in Sustainable Development and Management: 05
● BIMSTEC Scholarship Scheme: 08

1. Successful candidates shall receive the following payments and benefits during their study
● One-Time Admission Fee
● Tuition Fee
● Residential Charges
● Contingency

● One-Time to and fro travel charges
● Monthly Stipend (INR 20,000)

2. Eligibility
● Civil Servants applicants must fulfil all the eligibility criteria prescribed in the BCSR 2023
and also the additional criteria prescribed by Nalanda University click here
● Civil Servants applicants must align the field of study to the approved list of LTT under the
CPD submitted by the Ministries and Agencies. For the list of approved LTT, kindly contact
HRD of the respective Parent Agency or Ministry.
● Non-civil servants must fulfil the criteria prescribed by the Department of Workforce,
Planning, and Skills Development, MoESD, and also the scholarship criteria prescribed by
Nalanda University.

3. Application
1. Eligible candidates may apply for the scholarship through this portal on or before 18 March
2026.

● Kindly note that this scholarship is provided by Nalanda University, and all scholarship entitlements are confined to the offers prescribed under the University. No additional financial benefits from the RCSC/RGoB shall be admissible to candidates under this scholarship.
