Vacancy Announcement : Finance Manager
Position: Finance Manager
Location: Thimphu, Bhutan
Salary: Nu. 100,000 per month plus annual performance bonus

About the Role
1. We are looking for an experienced and strategic Finance Manager with 15+ years of proven experience in financial management, accounting, and business advisory.
2. The ideal candidate will not only manage and guide the finance team but will also advise and steer top management on financial strategy, demonstrating strong independence and leadership.
3. This role also includes hands-on bookkeeping oversight to ensure accurate, transparent, and timely financial records.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all financial operations, planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Provide sound financial advice and strategic direction to the management team.
  • Supervise day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions to maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with Bhutanese accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, capital planning, and financial controls.
  • Conduct financial risk assessment and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor and support junior finance and accounts staff.
 
Qualifications and Experience
 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting, finance, or corporate financial leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of Bhutanese financial standards and taxation systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide and advise management with strategic insight.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping, accounting software, and financial systems.
  • Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
