The Ministry of Health (MoH) is pleased to announce two (2) slots for the Master’s program under the Japan International University of Health and Welfare (IUHW) Scholarship, School of Public Health (SPH), for the 2026–2027 intake, as outlined below:

1. Eligibility Criteria :
In-service candidates from the Ministry of Health and the National Medical Services (NMS) who
meet the requirements under Section 7.7.4 of the BCSR 2023 are invited to apply.
Eligible applicants must submit the required documents via the provided link on or before 12
September 2025.

2) Degree Certificate and Mark sheet;
3) Class XII Certificate and Mark Sheet;
4) No Objection Certificates from parent/working agency

2. Shortlisting and Selection procedure
● Candidates will be shortlisted as per Form 7/8 - Google Docs of the HR Manual 2023
● Selection of candidates will be purely based on merit ranking of the selection result;
● Please note that the final selection will be done by IUHW. Further, the selected
candidate may have to submit additional documents as per the requirements of
University which will be directly communicated to the selected candidate

3. Post selection procedure
Upon confirmation of admission, the selected candidate shall submit LTT STUDY LEAVE
APPLICATION FORM Form 7/B available on RCSC website

4. Important Note
● Applications received without the endorsement of the HRC of their working agency and
with incomplete documents will not be accepted for the purpose of shortlisting;
● Selected candidate shall be required to undertake drug test and will have to pass the
test to be eligible for the scholarship;
● Only those candidates who are committed to this scholarship should apply;
● In case the selected candidate withdraws from the scholarship due to various reasons
after announcement of selection result, the scholarship shall be offered to the standby
candidate;    

Selected candidates withdrawing from the scholarship once selected will be
required to maintain a cooling period of 2 years to be eligible for study leave
for dishonouring the scholarship after signing the Scholarship Acceptance Letter;
and
The selected candidate upon successful completion of the scholarship will be
deployed to relevant departments of MoH as per the approved 13FYP staffing.
