The Bhutan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) is pleased to informed that as a part of ongoing effort to promote energy efficiency and protect consumers from substandard products, the Department of Energy, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (MoENR) in collaboration with Environment Design Solutions Global (edsglobal), is organizing a Stakeholder Consultation Workshop on the development of a Standards and Labeling (S&L) Program for three key appliances: ๐—Ÿ๐—˜๐—— ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐˜€, ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜€ & ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ ๐—ช๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—›๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€.
 
The objective is to provide consumers and retailers with informed choices regarding energy and cost savings, to transform the market toward the adoption of high-efficiency products, and to enhance overall energy productivity in Bhutan.
In this regard, we kindly invite retailers and importers of major electrical appliances in Bhutan to participate in the upcoming workshop. Your valuable insights and feedback will play a vital role in shaping the direction and implementation of the S&L Program, thereby contributing to a cleaner and more energy-efficient future for Bhutan.
