The Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan (RMA) is pleased to announce the vacancies for the following posts:

Grade and Pay scale:

1. SS8: 18,555-465-25,530

All interested Bhutanese aged 18 and above are invited to submit their applications through the e-recruitment system by August 20, 2025. Incomplete or late applications will be rejected. Required documents and post-specific criteria are outlined below.                           

1. Required Documents for All Applicants

1. Academic Transcripts: Class X, XII, Bachelor’s degree, and Master’s degree (if applicable)
2. Pass Certificates (Class X, XII, Diploma, Degree)
3. Curriculum vitae (for PS3 and above): Master’s/CPA/PhD qualification (if applicable), Terms of Reference for past roles, Other relevant certificates, two referees (Supervisor and Colleague) with valid email and contact details
4. Security clearance certificate (to be verified online)
5. Copy of Citizenship Identity Card
6. Valid medical fitness certificate
7. Audit clearance (for in-service candidates, if selected)

            viii. No objection certificate (from parent organization, if selected)

2. The academic marks will be calculated as follows:  
   1. Class X: English + best 4 subjects.
   2. Class XII: English +best 3 subjects.
3. Shortlisting for Written Examination:

All candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for the written examination. The written examination will serve as the basis for further shortlisting for the viva-voce stage based on merit.

4. Shortlisting for Viva-Voce and Selection Criteria

Note: To qualify for the viva-voce a minimum of 50% in written and to consider for final selection, a minimum of 70% in viva-voce is required.

5. Experience Consideration (PS2–PS3 and Above)
   1. Only experience accrued in a Professional Service Cadre after completion of a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree shall be considered.
   2. Study leave will be treated as active service

6. Additional Notes
   1. Incomplete application and/or non-submission of any required documents will be disqualified.
   2. Scanned copies of documents are acceptable during application; however, originals must be produced during the interview for verification.
   3. The RMA reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of intakes, or not to recruit any candidate, depending on the qualifications, experience, and capabilities of the applicants, as well as their performance during the interview process. The RMA also reserves the right to select the next candidate based on the merit ranking in the event a selected candidate withdraws.
