RIM is pleased to announce that the British Council IELTS registration for the 26th July, 2025 IELTS is now open. Please read the following instructions for smooth registration.

Registration Open: 5^th June, 2025 (first-come first-served basis) and will be closed prior to one-week of the LRW test date.

IELTS Office Location: IT & Library Block, First floor, Room at the entrance of Learning & Resource Development Center (Library), RIM, Simtokha. Open from 2 PM – 4 PM.

Maximum Intake: 150
Academic: 145
General Training (GT): 5

IELTS Fee: Rs. 19,775/- (Nineteen Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy-Five) only.

IELTS Test (LRW): July 26, 2025, (11:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

IELTS Test (Speaking): Speaking dates and time will be emailed after completing all the registration process. And the speaking venue will held at IT & Library Block (Glass building), Royal Institute of Management.

Test Venue for LRW (Listening, Reading & Writing): will be held at Multipurpose Hall just below the First gate of Royal Institute of Management (RIM), Semtokha, Thimphu

  • Make payment using the QR code attached in the form
  • Make payment of Nu. 19,775 by using M-BoB only.
  • While making payment, please write your name and IELTS date in the remarks section (example Karma, 26^th July 2025).
  • Once paid, you are confirmed for the Exam.  You will receive your speaking test date and time prior to one week of your LRW (26th July 2025)
  • A sum of Nu. 3300 will be charged for Withdrawal or Transfer of Exam date.
