The supply of fresh vegetables to the Centenary Farmers Market (CFM), Thimphu is increasing rapidly by the day leading to huge congestion and overcrowding in and around the CFM premises, especially on Wednesday and Thursdays. To reduce crowding and to mitigate the risk of spread of COVID -19, we would like to announce the following roster with effect from May 26, 2021.

To give equal opportunity to all Dzongkhag, Dzongkhags that are allowed to supply on Wednesday and Friday in one week will be allowed on Thursday and Saturday during the following week and vice versa. Anyone bringing their vegetables on the designated days are requested to carry and produce CID card as proof of source of vegetables, at the CFM Gate.

The aforementioned roster is not applicable to other market facilities and outlets in Thimphu. Those who do not get opportunity to sell at CFM, the two MLCPs are providing stalls free of cost should anyone wish to avail them.
