Ministry of Education and Skills Development is pleased to announce the availability of funded training on basic tailoring at the National Institute for Zorig Chusum in Thimphu.

As a part of the Skills Development Program, the Ministry of Education and Skills Development is pleased to announce the availability of the following funded training at the National Institute for Zorig Chusum in Thimphu:

Course: Basic Tailoring

Slots: 15

Course duration: 1 month

Application deadline: 28 February 2024

Qualification: Class X and below

Only interested registered job seekers/youths and laid-offs can apply using the link given. The courses shall commence from 1 March 2024.

In addition, after the course completion, all individuals are required to attend a Basic Entrepreneurship Course for 2 weeks.

The selected participants shall be notified within 2 working days from the last date of application via phone/email along with the required documents and items to bring. The selection shall be based on a FIRST-COME-FIRST basis and upon fulfilling the criteria specified above.

A monthly stipend of Nu.3500 will be provided for the entire duration of the course.
