WWF will be providing 4 scholarships (2 full scholarships and 2 full tuition waiver scholarships) to study at the Royal Thimphu College under the auspices of the WWF-Russell E. Train Education for Nature Programme.

The award called WWF-Train Legacy Scholarship will be available to Bhutanese students to undergo a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management (BSc EM) programme at RTC from Fall, 2021. The scholarship competition aims at selecting students who are motivated and committed towards contributing to the conservation efforts in the country. Upon completion of their studies, the students are expected to make use of their knowledge and expertise in helping the local communities.
 

Eligibility Criteria/Entry Level

Aggregate % for all streams is 65% minimum (English plus three best subjects)

1.  Science students with minimum 55% in Biology OR 55% in Mathematics and 50% in English

2.  Commerce students with minimum 55% in Mathematics/Business Mathematics and 50% in English

3.  Arts students with 70% in Geography and 50% in English 

Applicants should register online for admission and then submit the WWF-Train Legacy scholarship form in hard copy. The forms can be downloaded from the WWF/RTC website or can be collected from the RTC city office at Room#56, Chang Lam Plaza, Thimphu or the RTC admissions office at Ngabiphu.

The completed application form can be submitted at the RTC office, Ngabiphu or the RTC city office at Chang Lam Plaza.
