4th Student Business Seedling program featuring little CEO (16 – 25 January 2023) successfully concluded with children’s pitching their business ideas in the presence of Banking officials, Entrepreneurs and their family members.
The program was conducted by FITI in collaboration with the Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan (RMA) and the Financial Service Providers (FSPs) of Bhutan. The participants were students from 8 – 12 standard.
The program was aimed towards introducing children to basic business fundamentals and entrepreneurial skills. It also provided learning experiences through group activities, exposure tours, business simulations and interactive exercises for personal development. Along with entrepreneurial skills, children were taught financial literacy and leadership skills. 12 students from various schools of Thimphu, Punakha, Tsirang and Samtse participated and are expected to cascade their learnings to their fellow mates in their respective schools.
