BDB announces the sale of the following movable assets (vehicles/machines) and obsolete items (office equipment) through public auction on 19TH NOVEMBER, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Training Hall, Head Office, Thimphu. The interested bidders are requested to physically inspect the properties prior to the auction as the auction is on “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS”.

Terms and conditions:

1. All potential purchasers must register before 9:30 AM on the day of Auction.
2. A registration FEE of Nu.300/- (Non-refundable) with an earnest money of Nu. 25,000/- to be deposited in cash not later than 10:00 AM on the day of auction.
3. The purchaser shall be deemed to have physically inspected the property to their full satisfaction before making their bid(s).
4. The bank may at any time before the property (s) is sold withdraw the property from the sale.
5. For every successful bid, the purchaser is required to make payment of 25% of the bid amount by CASH/any financial institution CHEQUE immediately after the auction. The balance is to be paid on or before the expiry of 10 working days from the date of auction.
6. 6. The highest bidder shall be purchaser and he/she shall not be allowed to retract bid(s). If the highest bidder retracts his/her bid, the EMD shall be forfeited.
7. Earnest money of unsuccessful bidder shall be refunded
8. The purchaser will not be entitled to possession of the property(s) purchased until the total purchase price have been fully paid and adjusted. In the event the purchaser fails to pay the full bid price for the property within the prescribed time, deposits/part payment made shall be forfeited
9. Applicable renewable/ownership transfer charges/fees shall be borne by the successful bidder.
10. The decision of the Auction Committee to accept or reject the bid without assigning reason shall be final and binding.
