Facilities provided by JAL under Punatsangchhu-II Hydroelectric Project:

1. Camp with basic amenities such as toilets and 24 hours water supply.
2. 3 meals and 2 times tea for payment of Nu. 1,000 per month by the workers.
3. Group Accident Insurance for workers;

• Nu. 3 million for those working in underground caverns and tunnels.
• Nu. 2 million for those working on the surface.

1. 5% provident fund contribution from Contractor for those workers who have worked for more than 6 months.
2. PPE/Basic Safety Gears such as gumboots, hardhat helmet, gloves, reflective jackets and facemask are provided at specified intervals as per their standing policies.
3. Free Medical Facilities at the Contractor’s Clinic at the project site.
4. rest on alternate Sundays.
